The last class of my old professor’s life took place once a week in his house, by a window in the study where he could watch a small hibiscus plant shed its pink leaves.
Book Review:People die but their words and how they make you feel stay forever. Tuesdays With Morrie is a perfect example of this. Morrie who was the college professor of Mitch and who is terminally ill with ALS, decides to give his final lessons to the author Mitch Albom every Tuesday, which Mitch Albom records and later publishes in this amazing book named "Tuesdays With Morrie".
You can see in this little book, how Morrie finds meaning in life and how he manages to laugh even when he is terminally ill and about to die. A beautiful story of the final days of a mentor (Morrie) and the precious time he spent with one of his students (Mitch Albom).
The book is extremely well written, is very informative and heart touching. It provides you with lots of wisdom from a dying man i.e. Morrie, and teaches you to remember what's important in life and what's not. You must devote more time to the things that are really important in your life because rest is just noise. It also provides great insights on the human experience of living and dying. The book's wisdom will definitely stay with you for years to come.
